About Me

I am a Psychotherapist specializing in individual  and family therapy.  With 20 years experience as an individual and family therapist, my patients and clients present with a broad spectrum of illness and related concerns including Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, as well as relationship, marital and family related pathology. My Internship training at Johns Hopkins Hospital prepared me to treat adults as well as teen-agers with living with mental illness.

People often ask about the age range of my clientele: adults (age 21 and older) and adolescents (age 11-20).

My style is that of  an interactive, solution-focused therapist.  Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioral Theories are the foundation of my training and these paradigms influence my work.  My approach provides support and practical feedback to assist clients to effectively address personal life challenges.  I integrate complimentary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personaliized approach tailored to each client.  My desire is to continue to work with each individual to help each build on their strengths and identify effective coping tools for optimal living.
